What will I need to attend a Jiujitsu class:
Gi or No-Gi Attire – If you're training in Gi Jiu-Jitsu, bring a Gi and belt. For No-Gi, wear a rash guard and athletic shorts without pockets or zippers. If you don’t have the right gear yet, let us know—we can help! Mouthguard – Not mandatory, but highly recommended for protection, especially during sparring. Water Bottle – Staying hydrated is important during training. Towel – Expect to sweat, so a small towel is always useful. Flip-Flops or Sandals – You’ll train barefoot, but wearing flip-flops off the mat helps keep the training area clean. Most importantly, bring a positive attitude and be ready to learn! Our instructors will guide you through the fundamentals and make sure you feel comfortable on the mats. See you at Anchor Gym!
